Hello and welcome to Photo by Laurelle, a bespoke photography and videography service catering to both individuals and brands, run by me, Laurelle Kamara!

Laurelle is a photographer and videographer born and raised in the North of England, my passion for photography began in 2011 when I started my first fashion blog. Fuelled by an adoration for capturing beautiful images, I completed a 4-year BA Fashion Design and Marketing Degree, which only further cemented my passion for all things film, photography, fashion and art.

During my degree, I had the pleasure of working as the head photographer at London Modest Fashion Week which led to my first international feature in ‘The National.AE’ and my work was also shortlisted and published in the ‘Reveal the Real You’ Book in partnership with Dazed and Huawei in 2018. My immense love for photography and my dedication to capturing the best shots possible also resulted in my first residency with Riverside during the Great Exhibition of the North in Newcastle Upon Tyne, 2018.

Once I’d graduated, I spent a year working in marketing, before taking a leap of faith and pursuing my true passion of photography full-time.

My aim with Photo by Laurelle is to provide my wonderful clients with clear communication, reliable services and, of course, beautiful, authentic and aesthetic visuals. Whether you’re looking to capture those long-lasting moments of love on your wedding day or you want to commemorate all of your hard work with professional graduation photos, I would love to help you preserve those memories forever!

My specialities lie within fashion, portrait and event photography, but I also love working with corporations to create their latest campaigns, as well as charities looking to share their important messages with the world.

My dedication to my clients and the services that I provide are two of the most important factors of running my business; it is my absolute pleasure to help bring my clients’ visions to life! I believe that every frame tells a story and it’s my job, and honour, to help tell your story.

You’ll usually always find me with my camera in my hand, even when I’m not on a job and in my spare time, I love taking awe-inspiring shots from my travel adventures in the UK, Europe and beyond. See my print store to purchase some of my favourite prints.

I’m currently splitting my time between my home in the North of England and my new home in Barcelona!
