Pictures from our very first night in Crete. My favorite part of holidays is arriving at the destination, it’s all so surreal. Everything was so unfamiliar and I loved every second of our moonlit journey from the airport to our apartment. Our taxi driver would not stop chatting away on his phone, it was weird as he could have been arrested back home but here it was the norm.
He was speeding so fast – I opened the window because I wanted to breathe in the fresh air and see everything rushing by, it was so humid.
The view was beautiful, I loved how we could still see the busy town alit in the night and in the day we had a gorgeous view of the beach, it was so refreshing!
